I bought a Krups pump espresso machine from a garage sale. I have no idea how dirty it is or what condition it is in. The website doesn’t have any useful instructions on the cleaning or maintenance of said machine. What should I use? Vinegar? Soap and Water?
thank you for any suggestions!

What are some good espresso machines, preferably under 0? It’d mostly be used to make lattes. It’s be great it it had a hot water dispenser too for tea or hot chocolate. I heard that pump-driven ones are better. It has to have easy clean-up too. Also if it has some sort of easy way to switch between the coffees- like one cup stronger, another one weaker (we’d probably use the machine for when guests come and most will probably want different things)
I love the Super Automatic Gran Dama Espresso Center ESAM6600 by DeLonghi, but it costs like ,500 and I definately don’t have that much to spend on an espresso machine. If you know a waaay cheaper machine with some of the same basic features then that’d be great.
Lattes need frothing don’t they?

I have a stovetop espresso maker (Bialetti), and just got ground coffee that is made for espresso machines (illy), assuming it would also be ok to use in a stovetop espresso maker, like the Bialletti. Am I correct, or should I look for another grind?
** To clarify, I mean the specific grind of the coffee, not the brand.

I have my own espresso machine and I get my espresso beans from Starbucks. I also have them grind it for me. I bought a pound yesterday and they ground it, but it looks finer than usual, almost looks like powder. I paid no mind to it cause I know espresso grind should be very fine, but I used it in my espresso machine, and what do you know it, it drips out very slowly as if the water can’t even seep through. What am I doing wrong? or is my espresso grind wrong?

I’m not too worried about cost, simply value, and quality.

I have an espresso machine that I bought for 50$ bucks at target. And it actually makes excellent coffee, not as good as Starbucks, but pretty good. The only thing I don’t know how to do is actually make a good espresso with all of the works.
Yesterday I went out and bought myself some chocolate syrup, honey, vanilla, sugar, and milk. Hopefully I can use these to make something good.
If someone on here could share their secrets with my I would deeply appreciate it.
P.s. My machine also has a foam thingy on it, and I guess its supposed to make the coffee foam or something…

Or would this sort of coffee be suitable only for espresso machines?

The little pods, if I make 1 small cup of "espresso" (I don’t know how authentic this machine is), how many oz. should I drink? & do I dispose of the pod after? Is is single use?
Also, if I drink 6oz (like a small coffee cup am is that an overdose of caffeine or is it just similar to regular strong coffee).
thx

I have done my fair share of researching and have come across brands as "solis", "capresso", and "DeLonghi" but I just need to make sure I buy a quality one that lasts and produces a good product-at a decent price~

I grind at the same setting, use the same espresso machine (Gaggia classic), tamp pretty much the same each time. I guess volume of coffee used varies slightly from time to time. Is this enough to explain the vast diffrerences I get?

I have a Estro "vapore" that was given to me, it will make steam but won’t push the espresso out. The basket with the coffee in it isn’t even wet. Any suggestions?

We just got an espresso machine, and can’t wait to stop giving Starbucks our money. What are your favorite espresso drinks, and how do you make them? Thanks!

I recently bought an espresso machine (on ebay) which works wonderfully but unfortunately, I can’t seem to find a local market or store that sells ANY espresso pods! Does anyone know a place where I can get some for a decent cost?

Hi, I would like to buy a Saeco Aroma Espresso Machine (preferably 00347, Black) for less than £150 (0). I live in the U.K. and am finding it hard to find any websites based in the U.K. or U.S. based websites that ship to UK. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Unfotunately, none of those machines ship internationally for under £150. And Amazon does not seem to ship the Aroma internationally either

I love the deli cappuccino, but I think it would be more economic and wise to start making my own. I have been looking in ‘Target’ and ‘Bath Body and Beyond’, but I want others opinions before making a decision so I won’t be disappointed and have to take the product back. Thank you!

I’d like to use a packet of coffee in a pod adapter instead of tamping ground coffee. Thanks.

What exactly is the difference between brewing coffee and brewing espresso?
Is it worth getting a good espresso machine at home (if you’re a latte drinker) ?

I just got a new espresso machine and it only can make espresso from pods. I’m used to grinding, tamping and pulling my own shots. But my question is can I pull more than 1 shot with 1 espresso pod? I usually pull 3 shots of espresso for my drinks (combined with milk). I guess I just want to know if I should pull 3 shots from 3 pods or can I pull multiple shots from 1 pod? Thanks, take care.

I’m buying an espresso machine that I’ve been looking at (it’s around 220 dollars)
I’m not sure what I really need to get started, can I just buy the machine? Or do I need other things?
Also- can I use regular coffee beans or do I need special "espresso" beans?
